Camp EMT, Tarrytown:
This person needs a valid EMT certification. Our camp season begins on July 1st and runs through August 9th. The EMT needs to be onsite from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM Monday-Friday. The position typically pays $17.00/hr but is negotiable depending on experience. Job description below:
- The Camp EMT is the onsite medical director for the Summer Camp program. The individual employed in this position must have a current and valid EMT certification. The Camp EMT is responsible for administering all first-aid care to campers and staff. An additional duty of this position is ensuring that all camper immunization and medical records are complete and organized, and keeping the camp medical log of all incidents that occur throughout the season. The Camp EMT shall contact parents/guardians about injuries in consultation with Camp Director and/or Assistant Camp Director. The Camp EMT is expected to accompany the rest of the camp on all trips. This position reports directly to the Camp Director and Assistant Camp Director.
